Google predicted Bleak Era on Desktop Computers
The presence of predicted desktop computers will become something that is not relevant anymore in the future. This prediction comes from Google who believe that the existence of a desktop computer will be supplanted by mobile devices.
It is estimated, it will be about 3 years into the future. Google‘s European boss, John Herlihy said that desktop computers will yield to the emergence of smart phones that had been important in Google‘s mission to disseminate information to the world.
“In Japan, most of the leading research done on a smartphone, not a PC,” Herlihy said Digital Landscapes at the conference as quoted from the Silicon Republic, Friday (5/3/2010).
He added that mobile devices have made any information more accessible. And the people will turn to their mobile phone screen in consuming information and entertainment.
Plus, the more capable smartphone capability with expertise in operating a variety of applications.
