HP TouchSmart 300 Review: Surround Sound from Solid Body PC

Hewlett-Packard (HP) is not to be outdone in the release of their champion product in the realm of desktop touch screen. I had the opportunity of trying out a product called the latest HP TouchSmart 300. How did it go?

In first glance, TouchSmart 300 has a screen that seems is relatively small, compared to a touch screening similar desktop product. Though the screen is 20 inches wide. Perhaps the cause is the shape of a little ‘fat’ so reflects a solid body.

My admiration comes when I heard the audio quality out of the speakers. Wow … steady! Home Theatre seemed to have a small size. Although the size of desktop speakers where at behind the body is not prominent, but his voice seemed to meet the whole room.

Bang the bass and crunch treble, well-defined through the speakers located on the body under the desktop. From design that is brought, this product appears with a bandage elegant black color. When lit, the TouchSmart 300 was ready to welcome the user with a portal called the HP TouchSmart touch-screen 3.0.

Equipped with AMD Athlon X2 II 235e and NVIDIA GeForce G210 graphics, the desktop is quite qualified to enjoy full HD quality movies. Although it was a little padding, the selected screen width less tasteless. Still, this product is suitable to be placed in the family room.

With these specifications, TouchSmart 300 smoothly enough when used to play a class game Left 4 Dead. Besides these products is still strong to be taken lightly with graphics processing software sorts Corel, Adobe Photoshop, and even working on a project 3ds Max (3D graphics software) small.

Less Smooth Touch Screen portal

Another most interesting part of the desktop this is the sensation of touch screen in a portal called the HP TouchSmart 3.0. This portal provides a wide variety of applications ranging from notepad, videos, music, browser, to canvas for painting.

In terms of appearance and design, touch screen mobile portal, according detikINET little better than Acer‘s. If Acer‘s Aspire Touch Portal Z5610 a little more complicated, the HP TouchSmart seem more simple and elegant.

But when I try to gesture touch of the multi-touch screen, for some reason the operation of each of its application seem less responsive. For example when used for shifting, rotating, or zooming in applications. They Sound seem a little bit broken.

For additional information, the HP TouchSmart 300 will use AMD Athlon X2 II processor, while the Z5610 brings Aspire Intel Core 2 Quad. Hopefully this is not because the problem processor, when forced to perform multi-tasking performance.

Playing with these desktop features a touch screen is fun, especially for all kinds of entertainment features in it. But do not try to type using the on-screen keyboard (touch-screen virtual keyboard) to type a document.

Just like Aspire Z5610, for those who are not familiar would be very difficult to type an article with the virtual keyboard. Especially for users who have a relatively big fingers. It’s secured hard to type.

Conclusion

By design and excellent multimedia features, the HP TouchSmart 300 quite competitive when juxtaposed with a similar desktop called Acer‘s Aspire Z5610, especially with a slightly cheaper price.

This desktop can be one means of entertainment for family fun. Put it in the family room to share your multimedia entertainment.

In addition, HP also adds a wireless keyboard and mouse in a box 300 HP TouchSmart. So the user has the option interact alternative. Interested users can set up funds of about U.S. $ 1,144. Slightly cheaper than the Acer Aspire valuable Z5610 U.S. $ 1,399.
