Indonesia as Host for Asia-Pacific IPv6 Summit 2010

Jakarta - In addition to selecting the host for the year 2012, APRICOT (Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference of Operational Technology) in 2010 also held a variety of routine meetings. One who has finished meeting is held the Asia Pacific IPv6 Taskforce Meeting, which this time has another meaning for Indonesia.

Meeting held Tuesday, March 2, 2010 the day before, became important because Indonesia managed to convince the other Taskforce members related to the readiness of Indonesia hosts IPv6 Summit, 9-10 June 2010 and became the official agenda of the AP-IPv6 Taskforce.

Indonesia’s success in convincing members of other Asia Pacific Taskforce cohesion can not be separated from the Indonesian delegation this time comes ‘full-team’. Representative APJII, Ministry of IT (Poste), as well as the author himself had already prepared the presentation material in advance, and came to the meeting location 30 minutes earlier to get ready.

And finally, the long preparation for this presentation succeed paid off with approval from all in attendance to support IPv6 Summit Indonesia, Bali, 9-10 June 2010, which also became the official agenda of the second meeting of Asia Pacific IPv6 Taskforce in 2010.



All the representatives from 11 delegations agreed to this, even a delegation of Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Australia has pledged its commitment to be present in Indonesia IPv6 Summit to be held in Bali this.
