iPad Full Review + Video

Apple announces their latest Tablet PC called “iPad“. It’s design and purposed to be the easiest way in experiencing web, email, photos and others multimedia content. Firstly known on January 27, 2010 when Steve Jacobs (Apple CEO) introducing it, until now iPad becomes the hot gossips over past month.

UPDATE: IPad will come to US on April 3, 2010 but the latest info that I’ve got that you can start doing the Pre-Order from Apple Online Store or Apple Retail Store starting on March 12, 2010.

This Multimedia gadget is predicted to be the Revolutionary product in lower price. iPad price is starting at USD $499 for (16GB), USD$599 (32GB) and $699 for 64GB. But to get the WiFi support plus the 3G iPad compatible, you need to add USD$130 extra money.

iPad Technical Design

Display

As a Tablet PC, Apple iPad comes with lot of technology design. iPad is using a large high-resolution LED-Backlit IPS Display within 9.7-inch display, very remarkably, crisp and vivid. It can show the content in Portrait or landscape modes. It has 178′ wide view angle, so it still get a brilliant picture what kind position you using it.

Multi-Touch

The Multi-Touch screen on iPad is same technology in iPhone but it’s been reengineered for larger surface. you can still using all finger command on this iPad.

Size

It’s thin and it’s light. One thing you need to know that, even the display is diagonally at 9.7 inches. But it’s only 0.5 inch thin and no more than 1.5 pounds weight. So you can take it anywhere in handy.

Battery

The battery life can survive proximally up to 10 hours. using the Lithium-polymer battery technology it will makes you longer in using the device.

Connectivity

iPad is built-in 802.11n WiFi adapter and also using 2.1 Bluetooth + EDR Technology to easily connect to others devices. Apple iPad also using the 30-pin connector on the bottom of the devices it’s suitable for camera and keyboard dock extension. The 3G high speed data is an extra added technology that you can preordered before, it can gives you up to 7.2 Mbps data speeds.

Performance

Apple iPad is using the latest A4 chip inside it. It was custom designed to be more powerful and efficient. Its makes HD movies, 3G gaming are become no problems.

Audio

The powerful built-in speaker produces rich, full sound perfect for watching a movie or listening to music. iPad also comes with a headphone jack and a built-in microphone.

Just like I said before, Apple iPad is multimedia gadget with multifunctional of all content you need today.

1. Browsing the Internet

Browsing an Internet website or content is never been easier with iPad. With the Large Multi-touch screen, let you to see web pages and navigate the site in the same time. You can change the page layout from portrait to landscape for just rotating the iPad. All access is on your hand, there’s no need mouse or other pointing devices here. All you have to do just using your finger to flicking, pinching or double tuts the touch-screen. There’s also a thumbnail view in grid so you can quickly move from one page to another.

2. Mailing

You can use the virtual keyboard to write you email letter in simple way. It’s a pop up keyboard with a half size of the screen and it’s very responsive key note.

3. Photos

iPad is embedded with great applications to viewing and organize your photos. You can zoom in or zoom out, watch it in slideshow or you can also make it to be a beautiful digital photo frame (of course you will not buy it for this only) for your room. You can download photo from internet, email, and computer or even from camera using the connection kit.

5. Video

Having this iPad you will be no longer need a DVD player. Yaps within HD technology, you can makes iPad a perfect video player. It does also can play a TV Shows, Pod casts and Music Videos with different format such us: HD Files, DivX, AVI, MPEG, 3GP etc. Because there’s no button on the iPad front layout, you can watch it in full screen mode in one big screen. It’s also suitable for YouTube video, because it’s already installed with YouTube App to organize it.

6. Music

For music’s, iPad is completely design as the iPod using the iPod app plus the iTunes app.

7. iBooks

This is my favorite features, the iBooks app. With the iBooks app you can read books just like holding a real book so it’s suitable to makes your E-Book more easier to read. You can also buy and organize more books from App store that already connected with this iBooks app.

8. Others features

Another features that been bolded for iPad is MAPS app, Note App, Calendar, Contacts, Home Screen, Spotlight Search and accessibility. This entire feature usually has come from previous Apple products, such us Mac Book and iPod.
