LG GT540 (LG Optimus) Review
LG Optimus GT540, Fancy Mobile Android
Do not want to miss with another vendor, Motorola also joined with the Android phone market to enliven the world. LG Optimus GT540 – thus the name of the newest Motorola Android phone is – even though this gadget OS is still based Android 6.1 but it has a view that is quite tempting.
LG GT540 or commonly known as the LG Optimus does have an attractive design. Appearance of this phone is to attract the sympathy of the gadget in the country. LG itself has claimed that the phone-based Android 1.6 (Donut) also has a number of interesting features.
Tempting with Multiple Display Support Application
When tested, the view of these products do look tempting. Comes with a textured white color, and layers of chrome on both edges, make this product look more elegant. The presence of a few buttons below the screen seemed to reinforce the impression of even minimalist but still functional.
Quite impressed with its outer appearance, it’s time to taste any application that has been immersed this phone.
Like many other Android phones, this product has several slides that contain a variety of applications. In the main slide, for example, of a total of five slides, the user can see the weather forecast widget, a shortcut to the application email, browser, and the Android Market.
But if you look deeper, will be found a variety of multimedia applications or social networking. If you felt it was not enough, users still can download thousands of other applications through the Android Market for free.
Multimedia and Text Messaging Capability
Indeed, LG Optimus is designed for users who like eating all the multimedia content but also not remove variety of basic needs such as text messaging.
Equipped with 600 MHz processor speed, this phone can play 480 x 320 resolution video smoothly at 30 frames per Second (FPS). Unfortunately, the ability of 3-megapixel camera that can record images, only scored to the limit of 640 x 480 pixels at 17FPS.
Even though this capacity had snapped off a picture is fair. When tested at room with low light, the results are quite sharp and well at a resolution of 2048 X 1536 pixels. But the quality is going down when taking pictures at the location of the less luminous.
Then what about its ability to text message? Because the touchscreen-based, so users will only see a virtual keyboard on this product. Unlike a cell phone that only needs a touch of class to interact, LG Optimus requires a bit of pressure on every tuts on its virtual keyboard. As a result, any miss type often occurs when sending email or SMS.
Complete connectivity
Because it is designed to always be online, the phone is also equipped with various types of complete connectivity. Starting from the signal capture capabilities of HSDPA, WiFi connectivity 802.11 b / g, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and mini USB port located on the top right corner of this product.
So practically, with a fairly competitive price this phone has been providing a complete range connectivity. Moreover with the presence of A-GPS is integrated.
In conclusion, with the price offered seems LG Optimus able to compete with other Android phone in the lower classes. Although not equipped luxurious innards like HTC or Samsung Galaxy Desire S, this product can cure the curiosity for those who want to taste the Google operating system.
