Tigris and Congo: The New AMD Mainstream
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) introduced there new “Mainstream” . These time the user targeting multimedia applications and 3D games. Tigris – so AMD platform named – adopted from OEMs that support 8 full-1080p High Definition and battery offers 25 percent (55 + minutes) longer than previous AMD mobile platforms.
In addition, the Tigris provides wireless download 62 percent faster and 43 percent to facilitate increased speed for file conversion in the iPhone. According to AMD, although designed for mobility, AMD’s new platform provides a full PC experience. This makes this product unlike most of the cost netbook important option for 3D games and multimedia applications.
