Yamaha R15 V2.0 2012 officially launched

Techbaros.com – Exactly at 6 September 2011, Yamaha India has officially launched their latest version of the new YZF-R15 Series. Known as the YZF-R15 v2.0 2012, this Motorcycle nuances of Full Sport Fairing with has a more fresh and futuristic design.

When viewed from the front to the rear, the aura of its brother (YZF R6) is very subtle; it can be seen from the design of the tail which is using the new LED Stop Lamp  with Triangle-shaped like diamond. On the tail also created with a split model, the separate sitting position where the chair lift. If viewed from the front, the form of a separate seat at a glance resembles the YZF R125 design but slightly curved bottom. But unfortunately, the size of the tank which can hold 12 Liter Fuel is still very small.

Go to the legs, the front tires (90/80-17) and the rear tire (130/70-R17) in v2.0 is wider than previous versions. The new big tires were firmly in Swing Arm with Aluminum material.

For the machine capability, it seems that Yamaha Engineering still entrusts a machine with the same strength to its predecessor. Powered with Single-Cylinder engine, SOHC 4-stroke injection, and 6 speeds with a capacity of 149.8 cc, this machine is capable of providing power about 17 hp at 8500 rpm engine speed. And with the range of 15 Nm of torque at 7500 rpm, this engine feels quite enough for you who want more speed on the streets.

In India, the new R15 variant is sold at a price of 107,000 Rupees. This v2.0 R15 is ready with three color variants of Racing Blue, Sunset Red and Midnight Black.
